LEMO's latest SP series high-density multi-pole plastic connectors. The new series of UL approved connectors has a novel patented internal latch system that provides additional protection for the latch, thereby further enhancing the already tough plastic circular connector
. The rearrangement of the latch also provides additional space, and by using rectangular inserts (from a maximum of 14 contacts to 22 contacts of all 1.2A continuous ratings), the number of contacts can be significantly increased.
Other advantages include three keys for easy mating, especially for blind hole mating; due to the linear pin arrangement of the contacts, it is easy to terminate, has a wide range of sterilization resistance, and panel openings are the same as the standard Redel 1P series the same.
