포스트 날짜: 2022-02-05, Fujitsu Electronics America, Inc.

A new splicing and glass protection system, the LZM-125 series, which works with the onboard firmware to produce an automatic glass forming process launched by Fujikura

The system uses CO2 laser heat source to perform high-precision glass shaping operations such as splicing, sharpening and lens for glass less than 2mm.

Customers can use a complete set of control commands to produce proprietary PC control algorithms. Because the company added additional features such as greater PC control and more flexibility through the possibility of manual operation.

The system allows high resolution motion control to improve the accuracy of the entire splicing and glass processing operation.

"We decided to use the LAZERMaster LZM-125A+ splicing system because of its ability to be used in a variety of applications from telecommunications to laser development applications, such as splicing, sharpening and ablating optical fibers," said one of the first customers, based in Germany. In addition, the LZM-125A+ is a compact device that allows simple transportation and integration in optical devices, for example, monitoring fiber processing steps. I recommend using the LAZERMaster LZM-125A+ splicing system because of its friendly interface and reliable fiber processing results."

Neil Bessant, manager of Fujikura's European fusion splicer division, said: "We are constantly working to improve the tools available to speed up the process, make the job easier and ensure maximum efficiency. The LZM-125 series offers greater flexibility, control and allowable Customers meet the requirements of a variety of complex applications. Every sale comes with an industry-leading after-sales support package to ensure the best customer experience.”

The series includes an extensive library of applications to transfer between the LZM and FSM families, as well as motorized mirrors to automatically adjust the beam path.

Using a PC-based fiber handling software system, the capabilities of the LZM series of splicers can be extended, and users can access a variety of special splicing tools in one environment. These techniques include fiber tapering, parabolic tapering, ball lenses, the ability to drive a single motor, real-time thermal tapering imaging (WTI), monitoring and the creation of stitching scripts.

The LZM-125 series also features a clean, modular CO2 laser heat source that does not leave deposits on the surface of the fibers like a filament or electrode. This means that no external process gas or vacuum system is required.
