Freescale's HVP high-voltage development platform provides development solutions for the company's KInetis V-series MCUs and digital signal controllers (DSCs).
This platform enables the development of three-phase PMSM, BLDC and ACIM motor control and power factor correction (PFC) solutions in a safe high-voltage environment. The high-voltage development platform is an isolated solution that provides a development foundation for controller cards supporting Freescale MCUs. The platform is equipped with a Kinetis KV46F150M controller card. The motor control stage and the PFC stage are controlled by a single MCU. The input voltage is 85-240VAC, the output power of the motor stage is up to 1KW, it can drive 1.2Hp motors, and the power of the PFC stage is 800W.
Applications include PMSM, BLDC and ACIM motor control algorithms, industrial drives, compressors, washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, pumps, fans and air conditioners.
