RECOM offers new AC/DC open power supply for the RACM600-L series. The module provides convective cooling at 400/450 w (115/230 vac) and continuous forced airflow at 600W. The product offers a universal 80-275VAC input and a single 24V output, adjustable +/-20%, rated to 25A. It also provides 5V/0.5A standby output.
The module is IEC 62368-1 certified for IT/ multimedia/industrial applications and has enhanced security isolation over a operating range of 5000 metres. EMC curve "B" in compliance with EN 55032 is achieved with good margins without external components. Surge and burst immunity are at "level 4". The series is designed for reliable and cost-effective operations in high-availability applications, including medical and process control, with advanced components and conservative design margins. Certification includes 2 x MOPP medical safety (IEC/EN/CSA/ANSI/ aami-es 60601-1), up to 3000m, leakage current suitable for BF applications.
With up to 93% efficiency, the series can be connected in parallel with internal OR-ING diodes and active current sharing for redundancy or increased output. ON/OFF control, power good signal and remote sensing are included, along with PMBus interfaces for remote control and monitoring. It also includes the comprehensive protection of over current, over temperature, over voltage and short circuit.
The device features an open frame of only 197 mm x 102 mm x 41 mm (1U), a rugged U-channel format, and includes fixtures for chassis mounting. Operating temperature range -20C to +70C, derating.
