The Bluetooth Reverberation Chamber, along with Rhodes and Schwartz's R&S CMX500, now allows developers and manufacturers of 5G components and devices to implement high data rate MIMO stress testing under realistic conditions.

Bluetest focuses on reverberation chambers, such as the RTS65, for effective OTA performance evaluation of duTs. Unlike anechoic test darkrooms, reverberation darkrooms maximally reflect indoor RF signals to produce Rayleigh fading multipath RF environments similar to real indoor and urban conditions. This setting is controlled by Bluetest Flow software, an integrated test environment for complex wireless solutions. It offers an integrated results database, comprehensive customization options, and a mature scientific computing environment with support for both traditional and the latest wireless standards, such as 5G NR.

The modular design of the device adds 5G capabilities to traditional LTE-based solutions such as the proven R&S CMW500 broadband Radio communication tester or the R&S CMWflexx platform. This device simulates the network in the test setup. It is the future solution for 5G NR testing and can be independently and independently tested in FR1 and FR2.

"We are pleased to continue working with our industry-leading partner, Bluetest, and to offer our valued customers a first-class 5G test solution. For Rhodes & Schwartz, this integration is a welcome addition to our already comprehensive 5G test and measurement portfolio."Christoph Pointner, Senior vice President of Rhodes & Schwartz Mobile Radio Tester said

Bluetest Product Manager Klas Arvidsson commented: "The R&S CMX500 and the popular RTS65, or the larger RTS85/RTS95 walk-in devices, Together to create a user-friendly but powerful test setup for RF r&d of 5G devices of all sizes, including larger iot devices."
